HEIDI LING WAI SHAN
Heidi Ling Wai Shan is an artist from Hong Kong, she graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2023. Ling’s practice focuses on contemporary social issues, exploring complex relationships between humans, nature, culture, and interactions between the body and the city. Her works are highly symbolic and metaphorical. To Ling, painting is a profound way of metabolising thoughts and ideas. Her expansive practice combines oil painting, installation, sculpture, and other media in forms of artistic expression.
